Cucumber Gimlet

Recipe: 1.5-2 oz cucumber water*
1.5 oz gin
0.5 oz St. Germain liqueur (elderflower)
0.5 oz lime juice
1 t. sugar
soda water

Mix and serve over ice.

* To make cucumber water, peel an English cucumber and pulverize in a food processor. Pour pulp into a sieve and use a wooden spoon to mash it around against the sides, extracting all the liquid possible. I got almost 1.5 cups from a really big cuke.
