1/4 c. melted butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. rolled oats
1 t. baking soda
1 c. Trader Joe's organic walnut pieces broken instead of chopped
Stir together butter, sugars, egg. Mix dry. Add to wet. Add nuts. Stir thoroughly. Spread in buttered 8 inch pan. Bake at 325 F until center feels firm, 35 - 40 minutes. While it's still warm loosen the sides from the pan a bit. Makes 9 squares. Serve under ice cream.
